We are T-Minus 4-hours and counting until the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. While fans in the City of Brotherly Love and the Show Me state are gearing up to cheer their hometown heroes on, many NFL fans are already prepping for next season’s Super Bowl.

So where is the site for Super Bowl 60 and beyond? We have the answers!

Super Bowl 60 will take place on Feb. 8, 2026, from Santa Clara, California. Can the 49ers be the second team to host a home Super Bowl? In the Super Bowl’s 59 years, only one team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, played in the big game when their city was the host.

The then Tom Brady-led Bucs defeated the Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl 55. Technically, Tampa Bay was listed as the “road team” even though the game was played on their home field, Raymond James Stadium.

Super Bowl Locations – Can Detroit Get In Line, Please?

While the NFL has let it be known where the next three Super Bowls will take place, my hometown of Detroit deserves another Super Bowl.

The last time the Super Bowl was hosted in Motown was Feb. 5, 2006.

As someone lucky enough to be downtown the entire week I have to say I thought it was great! However, the strides the city has made since Ford Field hosted the big game is incredible!

The casinos were not fully functional in 2006 – meaning the hotel portions weren’t up and running. They are now, and they are spectacular! The MGM Grand, Greektown, and Motor City are leaps and bounds better than they were in 2006.

Also, so many restaurants, bars, and hotels have been built that the city is flowing with people on a daily basis. In 2006, the best that could be done due to lack of time to prepare were pop-up bars, restaurants and pubs.

The national media was hard on the city in 2006 – and for good reason. Now that the city has so many businesses thriving that did not exist in 2006, a long with so much more to see and do downtown, the NFL needs to bring back the big game.

Yes, it was great hosting the NFL Draft this past season. Now it’s time to add Detroit back into that Super Bowl rotation.

Below is a list of the next three cities to Host the Super Bowl.

  • Super Bowl LX: Feb. 8, 2026 – Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara, CA), home of the San Francisco 49ers
  • Super Bowl LXI: Feb. 14, 2027 – SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, CA), home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers
  • Super Bowl LXII: 2028 – Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA), home of the Atlanta Falcons
