In August the Tigers had a less than 5-percent chance of making the postseason as they were 10.5 games out of the wild card race. Incredibly, the Tigers went on a 30-11 run putting them in the playoffs for the first time in a decade.

Can the Tigers take down the mighty Houston Astros in their first-round best-of-three matchup? Sure they can. It won’t be easy, but if Detroit can steal Game 1 with Tarik Skubal on the hill, you just never know.
