Super Bowl Odds 2023: Fans Betting These NFL Teams as Potential Winners Early
The Super Bowl odds 2023 future bets are coming in with about a month and a half until the NFL season kicks off. Bettors are placing their early wagers for a handful of teams in particular that they believe will win the big game. Surprisingly the three teams that have been getting volume when it comes to the money fans are betting don’t include the 2022 Super Bowl teams.
Super Bowl Odds 2023: Three NFL teams getting money early
It’s early, but that can be the best time to profit when it comes to placing future bets. There’s some risk as injuries and setbacks could happen, but the high risk could mean a high reward. In the case of the 2023 Super Bowl odds, one of the top teams for bettors is the Los Angeles Chargers.
Led by emerging star quarterback Justin Herbert, the Chargers are certainly a team that’s on the rise. They finished on the outside looking in for last year’s postseason at 9-8. Their current future odds at BetMGM are +1600, making them a potential play to win $160 on a light $10 bet.
Next up are none other than seven-time winner Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady’s retirement announcement following his team’s playoff loss this past season had many closing the door on the Bucs’ title hopes. However, that door quickly reopened when TB12 unretired. Tampa Bay currently has +750 odds at BetMGM, the second best of all NFL teams.
“Tampa Bay and the Chargers have been popular teams in the futures market and are among the largest liabilities of nonlocal teams in each state, especially New Jersey,” FOX Bet senior trader Tieme Wesselink said, per FOX Sports.
Lastly, it’s Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, a team that was on the cusp of reaching the Super Bowl these past playoffs. However, Joe Burrow was on a mission and the young star reached his first championship game before Allen. The Bills lead all teams at +600 odds to win Super Bowl 2023.
What about the other NFL teams?
This past year’s matchup featured Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams defeating Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. It gave Stafford his first Super Bowl and Burrow some early experience in the big game. As of this report, the Bengals aren’t getting much respect, sitting at +2000 odds to win it all. Meanwhile, Stafford and company are +1100, the fourth-best odds of all NFL teams.
Don’t forget about league MVP Patrick Mahomes, also a former Super Bowl winner. His Kansas City Chiefs rank third on BetMGM at +900. Here’s a complete look at other squads:

When and where is Super Bowl 2023 being held?
There are still six weeks until the regular season gets going for the NFL, but the ultimate goal is reaching Super Bowl LVII. The big game will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Will the Phoenix Cardinals follow in the footsteps of the Bucs and Rams by making it to the big game at their home venue?
It’ll take place on Sunday, February 12, 2023, with FOX providing the televised coverage. The full TV schedule has yet to be released.
There has also yet to be any word on which artist or artists will take the stage for the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Last year’s game featured a star-studded hip-hop concert with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
