Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair face off in ring at WWE Royal Rumble 2026

WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Results for Riyadh Match Winners

The WWE Royal Rumble 2026 results are here, as several massive matches occurred in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, to help pave the Road to WrestleMania!

They included the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, where 30 men and 30 women enter the matches, and only one is left standing for each match. Those two winners get to challenge for a championship at this year’s WrestleMania in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Royal Rumble 2026 odds showed who could win the huge matches. Based on the odds ahead of the event, Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan were the favorites to win both matches. Along with that, Drew McIntyre was a massive favorite to retain his championship against Sami Zayn.

Women’s Royal Rumble 2026 Match Results

In a surprising start to the match, Charlotte Flair was the first entrant, with her tag team partner and friend, Alexa Bliss, entering second, creating an interesting dynamic. They teased that they would fight each other several times, but stopped, then awaited the third entry, who was Kiana James.

The No. 8 entrant, Jordynne Grace, achieved the first three eliminations in the match, first tossing Lola Vice and Candice LeRae out at the same time, and then eliminating Ivy Nyle. Soon after, Charlotte tried to save her friend Alexa, who was battling with Nia Jax on the side of the ring, but unfortunately, she knocked both to the floor.

Brie Bella arrived at No. 29 as the biggest surprise of the match, with fans going wild to see her and Nikki Bella back in the ring together. They survived briefly before Lash Legend eliminated them both. Lash also eliminated Charlotte, who had lasted in the match for the longest time as the No. 1 entrant, and soon after, IYO.

Another major surprise was the return of Tiffany Stratton at No. 30 after recovering from a knee injury. She was one of the final three women in the match, along with Maxxine and Liv.

After a battle between all three on the side apron, Tiffany shoved Sol off during an attempted move, and then Liv hit Tiffany with Oblivion from the apron, sending her to the floor.

Lash Legend recorded the most eliminations in the women’s match with five, but was eliminated 25th overall by Rhea Ripley. Meanwhile, Liv earned herself a championship match at Mania with her first career Rumble win.

Match Winner: Liv Morgan won after eliminating Tiffany Stratton last.

AJ Styles in Career-Threatening Match

AJ Styles put his career on the line against GUNTHER, who infamously retired Goldberg, and then John Cena just last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

In this match, the fans were clearly on AJ’s side, showing him support throughout the match. Despite a Styles Clash and other huge moves from The Phenomenal One, Gunther repeatedly applied his trademark sleeper submission hold.

The final moments saw Gunther lock the hold on for good, and the referee eventually determined that Styles was unconscious and unable to continue.

Styles eventually woke up, and the fans chanted for him not to leave his gloves in the ring. Styles put them back on and recognized the fans with several big poses before heading backstage.

Match winner: Gunther defeated AJ Styles by submission, meaning AJ must retire.

Men’s Undisputed WWE Championship Match

Sami Zayn challenged the Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre for the championship in Riyadh. Could Sami finally capture one of the major championships with the crowd in Saudi Arabia backing him?

While Sami hit a Helluva Kick and Exploder, he was unable to capture the pinfall against Drew. In the end, McIntyre delivered a Claymore Kick before waiting for Sami to try to get up. He then delivered a second Claymore Kick to put Sami down for the pinfall.

Match winner: Drew McIntyre wins via pinfall over Sami Zayn to retain Undisputed WWE Championship.

Men’s Royal Rumble 2026 Match Results

30 men entered the match with the hopes of winning and getting a championship match at WrestleMania in Vegas. Competitors included some true warriors of the ring, including Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, Oba Femi, and Roman Reigns.

Former NXT star Oba Femi started things off against Bron Breakker. However, a masked individual dressed in all black clothing came out and attacked Bron before the match. Whoever the mystery person was, they hit a Curb Stomp similar to Seth Rollins’ finisher, then watched as Oba easily eliminated Bron from the match.

One of the big surprise entries was former AEW star Powerhouse Will Hobbs, who entered at No. 14 under the new name Royce Keys. He looked impressive in early action and eliminated Damian Priest, but ultimately was eliminated eleventh overall by Bronson Reed.

After Cody Rhodes was eliminated by Drew McIntyre (who wasn’t even part of the match), it came down to a final four featuring Roman Reigns, GUNTHER, Randy Orton, and Logan Paul. The Maverick was the first elimination of the quartet, followed by Gunther promptly grabbing Orton to toss him out over the top rope.

With Reigns against GUNTHER as the final competitors, it provided two former Rumble winners. GUNTHER attempted to use his sleeper hold several times to wear down Reigns, but the fans showed support with “O-T-C” chants. Reigns withstood the sleeper holds, then delivered a Spear to take down GUNTHER, before tossing him out.

Of note, Reigns tied with Oma Febi for the most overall eliminations in the match with five. However, Reigns won the match and got himself a championship match at Mania.

Match winner: Roman Reigns wins after eliminating GUNTHER last.
