This deal surely indicates that fan favorite and all-around star Freddie Freeman’s days in Atlanta are done. Now the big question is who will land one of the hottest names in MLB?

Freddie Freeman is a beast. This any MLB fan will tell you. So it won’t surprise anyone if he lands with a contender – and gets paid a huge deal.

According to Bookies.com, in the last four seasons, Freeman has led MLB in hits, doubles (twice), runs scored (twice), games and at-bats. He won the National League Most Valuable Player Award in 2020 and led the Atlanta Braves to a World Series title in 2021 – earning World Series MVP in the process.

So why would the Braves give up on him? We don’t know either. Age maybe? Olson is 27 and a career .252 hitter. Freeman is 32 and carries a .295 career avg.

They both are great players, but I would take Freeman over Olson. Atlanta’s loss will be some other team’s gain, this we all know. What we don’t know is when and where Freeman will sign.
