Jalen Ramsey Rumors To Lions Grow As Amon-Ra St. Brown Makes His Pitch To Bring The Rams Star To Detroit
The Jalen Ramsey rumors are only going to grow as summer approaches. As we reported here at SOD back in January, we believe that the Detroit Lions should be all in on Ramsey – even if it costs them a first-round selection.
Now that it seems the Rams are open to dealing the star, it is fueling expectations that Ramsey could land in Detroit.

Los Angeles Rams COO Kevin Demoff appeared on the NFL Network earlier this week to talk about the team’s future. According to SI, Demoff didn’t rule out that dealing Ramsey, for the right price, is an option.
“I think anytime you go from Super Bowl champions to a disappointing year, everybody’s always wondering what’s next,” Demoff said. “For us, it’s getting our players healthy, it’s getting back to playing at the caliber. Jalen’s been a huge piece of what we’ve done, and I think for all of our players, it’s going to be about figuring out what’s best moving forward.”
If Ramsey does become officially on the trading block, several teams will make their bid, that’s for sure. If Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown has any input, Ramsey will be sporting the Honolulu Blue and Silver next season.

St. Brown is not just a rising star in the NFL, he has a growing podcast and loves social media. You could say St. Brown is already preparing for life after football. If you watch him on YouTube, it’s easy to picture St. Brown working for FOX or CBS Sports after his playing days are over.
However, a career in analyzing the NFL isn’t what’s on St. Brown’s mind at the moment. Right now, St. Brown is making his personal pitch to Jalen Ramsey to pack up and move to Motown. If a deal between the Lions and Rams did occur, the NFC would be put on notice.
The already much-improved Lions will take the North by storm – that you can bet on! Adding a player like Ramsey to help mold the defensive backfield is exactly what could put the Lions over the top in 2023.

“I keep seeing these Jalen Ramsey, they might release him or how that’s going to work. I know you used to play with — Jalen, if you can hear this, I know you played with (Jared) Goff before. St. Brown said on his Detroit might seem like a landing spot for you, my guy. Talk to me. The only way is up for us.”
Detroit is already listed as one of the teams to beat in the NFC next season. If they land Ramsey in 2023, look for those odds to shrink even more before Week 1 of the new season.
