Super Bowl 58 Odds Update: Detroit Lions Favored To Win NFC North, 4th Overall To Win NFC Title In 2024

Our Super Bowl 57 prediction for this year is in, however, as NFL fans prepare for the final countdown to Super Bowl 57 featuring the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Philadelphia Eagles, we are already doing our homework for next season.

A few weeks ago we reported the early 2024 Super Bowl odds as they were released by Draft Kings. Right away the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars jumped right out at us.

Now after doing a bit of studying and seeing an early update to the Super Bowl 58 odds, we are ready to make our first wagers for next season – and they are all on the Detroit Lions.

Invest in the Lions early

Future odds are no different than stocks, you lay down your money ahead of the crowd trying to get the best deal. Right now our eyes are on the NFC North and the Detroit Lions.

SUPER BOWL SQUARES PRINTABLE BRACKET

Detroit is currently listed at +3000 to win Super Bowl 58 – which is a far cry from this time last year when the Lions were set at a fat +15000. Interestingly enough, the Lions opened at +3500 just a few weeks ago. That means they are one of the few teams already getting early action as they have dropped to +3000.

If you believe in the Lions in terms of winning the NFC North, NFC title, and Super Bowl next season you need to jump in early. The odds on Detroit will only get shorter when the season begins – especially if they get off to a good start. Also, if Aaron Rodgers’ time is over in Green Bay, the odds will really decrease for gamblers in terms of getting the Lions at a great value.

Lions – Kings of the North?

While the odds to win the NFC North division haven’t been revealed by sportsbooks yet, it doesn’t take a road scholar to know that the Lions will be the favorites or at least co-favorites to be crowned champs.

With the updated Super Bowl odds seeing the Lions move up the chain, they are also very noticeably the top team ahead of everyone else in the NFC North.

The Lions and Packers are both at +3000, but don’t let that fool you. Detroit has been a pain in Aaron Rodgers’ side for the last few seasons and as I see it, the Lions’ roster is head and shoulders above the Pack.

Here is where it gets interesting. The defending NFC North champion Minnesota Vikings are listed at +5000. That speaks volumes! Vegas books must believe that the Vikings were a one-hit-wonder. The Bears, which are listed as the worst of the four NFC North teams, currently sit at +8000.

Those odds right there tell you that the Lions will be the favorites to win the NFC North. To break it down a step further, Detroit is currently the fourth-highest NFC team listed in the latest Super Bowl odds release.

According to the Covers.com report, only the 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys are listed ahead of the Lions. There you have it Lions fans. If you believe Detroit’s 8-2 finish to the 2022-23 season was no fluke and want to wager on the Leo’s your best bet is to do it now. We are!
