Jaxson Dart Injured vs. Rams: Giants QB Doubtful To Return – Malik Nabers Also Exits Game

Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers are two key pieces of the New York Giants offense. During the 1st quarter of tonight’s MNF game vs. the Rams, the G-Men have watched both players limp to the sidelines with no sign of returning.
Jaxson Dart out vs Rams
Quarterback Jaxson Dart went down with an apparent left knee injury early in Monday night’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
Dart was hit by two Rams defenders while attempting a pass on third down and immediately grabbed his left knee. He remained on the field before walking slowly to the medical tent under his own power. He later headed to the locker room.
The Giants initially listed Dart as questionable to return. Jameis Winston entered the game in relief.
That’s a massive development for a Giants team that came into tonight 1-0 after Dart’s impressive Week 1 performance against Dallas.
Dart completed 79.3% of his passes for 230 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in the season opener, while adding 54 rushing yards.
As if things couldn’t get worse for New York, minutes after the Dart injury, WR Malik Nabers suffered what looks like a shoulder injury. Hopefully these two young stars are okay and can return soon.
