Jim Harbaugh Calls Out Ryan Day As The War Of Words Heats Up Between Michigan And Ohio State
The Michigan Wolverines hate the Ohio State Buckeyes. Period. The same can be said for the Buckeyes. They do not care for the Wolverines one bit.
So pandemic or no pandemic, with the season schedule expected (maybe) to get underway in less than a month, the war of words is already heating up.
Harbaugh calls out Day
For the first time in decades, Michigan and Ohio State will not meet up in the final week of the season. Instead the two will square-off in the Horseshoe on Oct. 24.
If you are a fan of either team, or just college football in general, you won’t want to miss this year’s edition!
ESPN Indicates that during a conference call among Big Ten coaches on Monday, Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh reportedly interrupted Ohio State’s Ryan Day and accused the Buckeyes of breaking rules regarding on-field instruction.
Harbaugh asked Day about a photo that showed Buckeyes assistant Al Washington working with Ohio State’s linebackers.
Normally that is not an issue this time of year. However, NCAA rules said that no on-field instruction was permitted until Friday, Aug. 7.
Day fires back in a big way
When Day fielded Harbaugh’s question, it is safe to say he wasn’t to happy.
“How about I worry about my team and you worry about yours?” Day told Harbaugh.
Things did not end there.
Day reportedly told his players during a team meeting that the Wolverines better hope for a mercy rule this season because his team was “going to hang 100 on them.”
If the NCAA football season does take place in 2020, this game is going to be must see TV!
