Jim Harbaugh Rumors: Vikings Just A Stepping Stone For Wolverines Coach To Sign With Dolphins?
Jim Harbaugh is heading to the NFL. This is something most of us agree on. If he’s not, he sure is flirting with several NFL teams harder than Mae West in her early 1920s movies!
With rumors running wild that Harbaugh is heading to Minnesota to take the Vikings vacant coaching position, one Detroit sports figure thinks that is the furthest thing from the truth. I must say I agree.
The “Harbaugh to Miami” rumors were coming fast and furious about a month ago. That is until the owner of the Dolphins, Stephen Ross, went on record saying that he wasn’t interested in Harbaugh.
Why would he do such a thing? Well, Ross is a Detroit native, and he went to the University of Michigan. And he was quoted as saying “I’m not going to be the person to take Jim Harbaugh from the University of Michigan. I hope he stays there.”
That may no longer be the case. That is if the Vikings make Harbaugh an offer.
FOX 2 Detroit’s Ryan Ermanni makes a great point of how Jim Harbaugh is more likely to end up in Miami than he is to be running out of the Vikings tunnel in 2022.

Ermanni said “I guarantee you, if he (Harbaugh) gets an offer, he’s out. I also guarantee you that if Minnesota offers Harbaugh a contract to coach the Vikings…you know who will be making a call? Steven Ross.”
“The only thing Ross is waiting for is another team to make Harbaugh an offer just so he can stay true to his word that I am not going to be responsible for taking Harbuagh away from Michigan….but if he was going to go anways…..at that point I am getting in on it.”
Is Jimmy H. Miami bound? Only time will tell. However the fact that Harbaugh has still yet to tell the media that he is happy in Ann Arbor, the odds favor him bolting back to the NFL.
