The Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team will celebrate its historic 2026 National Championship with a championship parade and fan celebration in Ann Arbor on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
After defeating the UConn Huskies men’s basketball 69-63 to win their first title since 1989, Michigan fans will now have the chance to celebrate with the team in person.
Parade Start Time & Route

- Start Time: 10:00 AM ET
- Starting Location: President’s House on South University Drive
- Route: Travels down State Street
- End Point: Yost Ice Arena
Fans are encouraged to line South University Drive and State Street, particularly near the Michigan Union and along the parade route, to get the best view of the celebration.
Additionally, State Street will be closed starting at 8:00 AM for parade preparations and is expected to reopen around 11:00 AM.
