MLB Playoffs Schedule 2020: Bracket Matchups, Updated Pennant, World Series Odds

The MLB Playoffs schedule is set! It took every game of regular-season play to figure things out, but MLB fans finally know which teams are in the 2020 MLB playoffs along with the Round 1 matchups. In a year like no other, be ready to expect the unexpected!

MLB Playoffs 2020: Neutral sites, expanded field

For the first time ever, the MLB playoffs will feature 16 teams – and fans love it! In a newly added format for the 2020 shortened season, the Wild Card round will feature a best-of-three series instead of the usual one game “winner take all” format. Don’t be surprised if this new WC schedule doesn’t stay in place from here on out.

The games will also be played at neutral sites so having a real “home crowd feel or advantage” won’t favor a true home team like years past.

This year all MLB playoff games will be played in four designated cities. Arlington and Houston, Texas, along with San Diego, and Los Angeles, California will be the host cities for the 2020 MLB playoffs, The 2020 World Series taking place in Arlington, Texas.
