Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest 2020 Results: Odds, Prop Bets And How To Watch Live As Joey Chestnut Looks For Win No. 13

Happy Birthday, America! The Fourth of July marks the heart of summer, the nation’s birth, and of course, the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest!

Nathan’s Hot Dog Contest 2020

What better way to celebrate America’s Birthday than by watching folks try to eat as many hot dogs as they can in 10 minutes?

It may sound absurd to some, but to others, competitive eating is a way of life. Just ask Joey Chestnut. Chestnut is set to defend his crown this afternoon as Nathan’s Famous holds its 2020 Fourth of July Hot Dog-Eating Contest.

Due to COVID-19, this year things will be a bit different than in years past.

First off, the contest will not be taking place in Coney Island. The 2020 version will instead take place in a private location with COVID-19 safety measures in place.

That means unlike years past where tens of thousands of fans show up to cheer their favorite contestant on, there will be no crowd to speak of.

Unfortunately for contestants like Chestnut, who admits that he feeds off the crowd, this year there will be no fans cheering for their favorites!

While the 12-time men’s champion Joey Chestnut pushes for No. 13, Miki Sudo will go for her 7th title this afternoon.

Odds, props and how to watch live

Las Vegas odd makers have tabbed Chestnut and Sudo as the two heavy favorites.

Chestnut holds the world record for most hot dogs consumed in 10 minutes with 74. Will that record be broken this year? You can wager on it!
