Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers most wagered on team to win Super Bowl 55
NFL fans know that Tom Brady draws a crowd. Love him or hate him, he is one of, if not the most polarizing figures in all sports. After 2-decades in New England, Brady is proving he has a huge effect on the NFL in many ways – including with the gamblers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl wagers up
Not many folks have wagered on the Bucs to win the Super Bowl over the past decade. That sure has changed in a hurry.
According to Clutch Points, the Bucs are the new money team in the NFL in terms of Super Bowl prop wagers – and they can thank Tom Brady for that.
Since the 2020 NFL Draft, over 30-percent of Super Bowl prop wagers that have come flooding into casinos to win the big game next February have been on Tampa Bay.
Not bad for a team that has had little or no success over the past 10+ seasons.
It seems Brady (and Gronk) still have some pull after all.
Super Bowl odds
The Bucs odds to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy have changed dramatically after they announced that they have signed the 6-time Super Bowl champion QB. They even got a little extra boost after they added Brady’s longtime favorite tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Before the Bucs signed Brady, added Gronk, and held the NFL Draft, they were listed anywhere between +3500 to +4400 depending where you look.
Now the Buccaneers are +1100, making them the team that has changed the most on the Vegas odds board this offseason.
Don’t look for that to slow down any time soon we draw closer to the new campaign.
Can you imagine if Brady leads Tampa to a win in Super Bowl 55? He literally would be named the Governor of Florida – without an election!
