WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Odds: Favorites Show Possible Match Winners for Major PPV
The WWE Royal Rumble 2022 odds have continued to change slightly as we head towards Saturday’s major pay-per-view event. However, we’re getting a clearer picture of how the Road to WrestleMania could play out, based on who could win the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. There are also major championship bouts which will determine who has the belts when Mania take place. Let’s take a look at the favorites for all matches coming up this weekend.
WWE Royal Rumble 2022 odds for Men’s Match
The Royal Rumble matches typically involve 30 entrants, with eliminations occurring as superstars get tossed over the top ropes and hit the floor with both feet. The last man, or woman, in their respective match is crowed Royal Rumble champion, and typically gets a championship match at WrestleMania.
The past five men’s Royal Rumble winners were Edge, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Shinsuke Nakumara, and Randy Orton.
Currently, SkyBet is showing Brock Lesnar as a 5-2 favorite to win the Rumble match, which is interesting since he’s heading into the PPV as a champion. Behind him is Big E at 4/1 followed by Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns at 10/1. Here’s the top 10 for the men per Odds Checker:
+350 Big E
+375 Brock Lesnar
+800 Roman Reigns
+900 Drew McIntyre
+1000 A.J. Sytles
+1000 Kevin Owens
+1400 Omos
+1600 Bobby Lashley
+1800 Seth Rollins
+2000 Finn Balor
WWE Royal Rumble 2022 odds for Women’s Match
Meanwhile, there’s also the women’s match which could see its first two-time winner, and also first back-to-back winner in the history of the match. That would be Bianca Belair who won the match in 2021. Other favorites include Alexa Bliss who seems poised for a return Sunday, and Bayley who has been injured, but one never knows.
- Bianca Belair +300
- Bayley +550
- Alexa Bliss +600
- Rhea Ripley +800
- Raquel Gonzalez +1200
- Charlotte Flair +1200
- Paige +1400
- Ronda Rousey +1400
- Liv Morgan +1600
- Asuka +1800
Fans will certainly take note of a few names up there who haven’t been in a WWE ring in a while. Ronda Rousey previously made her surprise debut after the 2018 Rumble in Philadelphia. She’s been on hiatus since giving birth. Paige is also up there with +1400 odds, but has been injured and was ruled unable to compete years ago.
Other Royal Rumble PPV match odds
We’ll get some great championship matches this Sunday as well as a mixed tag team matchup. Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley in what is sure to be quite a clash. Lesnar enters as a -230 favorite, while Lashley is at +160 as the underdog.
In the WWE Universal Championship match, it’s two former Shield brothers doing battle. Seth Rollins gets to take on Roman Reigns for the belt. Rollins comes in as a +165 underdog here compared to the Big Dog’s -240 odds.
The WWE Raw’s Champion Becky Lynch puts her title on the line for the first time against the imposing Doudrop. Despite Doudrop having that size advantage, Lynch has the experience factor, making her a -1200 favorite here. Doudrop is a +750 underdog that some bettors may back if they feel the risk is worth taking.
Last but not least, is a match with no titles on the line, but mainly another installment in a feud. Edge and Miz have battled one-on-one, but now they’ll team up with their wives in a mixed tag match. As of this report, Edge and Beth Phoenix are -500 favorites against The Miz and Maryse at +300.
