Detroit Lions Madden 26 Ratings Reveal Potential 99-Club Players
The Detroit Lions Madden 26 ratings show several NFL players could climb into the upper ranks of stars and reach the popular Madden 99 club.
Detroit enters the new season fresh and hungry for the franchise’s elusive Super Bowl win. Helping their cause will be returning star players who could carry them deep into the postseason again.
Based on ratings for the hit video game, they have the personnel capable of making a splash again in the NFL this season as 2026 Super Bowl contenders.
The Madden game’s 99 club currently includes the best of the best, with Ja’marr Chase and Saquon Barkley there. However, the Lions Madden ratings show two of their offensive threats are very close to achieving the feat.
Top-rated Detroit Lions players in the game this year
We already mentioned that Saquon Barkley has set the standard for this year’s early ratings with a 99. Just below him is another guy people are quite familiar, Derrick Henry, with a 98 overall rating.
However, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is right there with a 95 Madden rating. This is before he even steps foot on the field for a regular season game.
Ratings generally improve as the season moves forth, based on how players perform in the actual NFL games. Should Gibbs string together some great rushing games and aid the Lions in winning games, it wouldn’t be surprising for his number to go up.
The other player potentially knocking on the door for a spot in that 99 Club is the Lions’ star wide receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown. He currently holds a 96 overall, and is also third on the top 10 wide receivers list.
As seen above, the two players above him, Chase and Justin Jefferson receieved spots in the Madden 99 Club for this year’s game. With St. Brown just three points away, this is super achievable if he can continue on his journey among top receivers in the NFL.
Noteworthy Detroit Lions Madden 26 ratings
Someone has to throw the ball and hand it off to those potential 99 Club players, and that’s Jared Goff. He nearly led the team to a Super Bowl, and is capable of doing so in the season ahead.
Goff ranks in the top 10 quarterbacks at No. 6 overall with an 87. The players above him are a who’s who of the best QBs in all of football, with the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen in the 99 Club.
A major talking point for fans will be the guy just above Goff: Matthew Stafford. The former Lions QB led the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl win several seasons ago. While that’s great for Stafford and the Rams fans, it’s not quite so great for Lions fans hungry for the team’s first Lombardi Trophy win.
The Lions have several other players who are among the team’s unsung heroes, including Penei Sewell. whoreceived a 96 overall rating in the upcoming video game, and left end Aidan Hutchinson who has a 93.
