🏈 NFL WEEK 1 SCHEDULE & ODDS
Wednesday, September 9
- New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) — OVER/UNDER 44.5 — 8:20 PM ET — What a way to open the season. A Super Bowl rematch in Seattle. The Seahawks are laying 3.5 at home, but this Patriots roster is much different than the one Seattle beat in February.
Thursday, September 10
- San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-3.5) — OVER/UNDER 48.5 — 8:35 PM ET — NFL football in Australia! This is a fascinating NFC West matchup, and the 48.5 total tells you exactly what Vegas expects — points.
Sunday, September 13
1:00 PM ET
- Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) at Indianapolis Colts — OVER/UNDER 47.5 — 1:00 PM ET — Baltimore enters the season with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations. Indianapolis gets the home field, but the Ravens have too much firepower for me to ignore.
- Buffalo Bills (-1.5) at Houston Texans — OVER/UNDER 44.5 — 1:00 PM ET — One of the best games of the early Sunday window. Two AFC contenders with Super Bowl aspirations.
- New Orleans Saints at Detroit Lions (-6.5) — OVER/UNDER 49.5 — 1:00 PM ET — This is one of my favorite games on the board. Detroit is loaded offensively, and I’m expecting the Lions to come out firing in front of the home crowd. The Saints finished last season red-hot. This could be a barnburner!
- New York Jets (+2.5) at Tennessee Titans — OVER/UNDER 39.5 — 1:00 PM ET — Don’t sleep on this one. The total is one of the lowest on the Week 1 board, but the Jets are one of my surprise teams this season. I predicted the JETS are playoff-bound, so this is a must-win game!
- Atlanta Falcons (+3) at Pittsburgh Steelers — OVER/UNDER 41.5 — 1:00 PM ET — The Steelers have a new coach for the first time in a long, long time. Rodgers gets it done at home.
- Cleveland Browns (+7.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars — OVER/UNDER 40.5 — 1:00 PM ET — Jacksonville is expected to be one of the better teams in the AFC this year, while Cleveland enters with plenty of questions. The question is whether the Jaguars can win by eight.
- Chicago Bears (-2.5) at Carolina Panthers — OVER/UNDER 47.5 — 1:00 PM ET — This is an interesting one for me because Chicago is one of my three NFL surprise teams — but in the wrong direction. I think the Bears could struggle to duplicate last year’s success. Carolina at home – money line? You bet!
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) — OVER/UNDER 50.5 — 1:00 PM ET — A battle of two teams that may be flying under the radar in terms of a Super Bowl contender.
4:25 PM ET
- Arizona Cardinals (+9.5) at Los Angeles Chargers — OVER/UNDER 47.5 — 4:25 PM ET — The Chargers are one of the biggest favorites on the Week 1 board. The question isn’t whether LA can win — it’s whether they can win by double digits.
- Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings (-1.5) — OVER/UNDER 46.5 — 4:25 PM ET — This line is screaming coin flip. Green Bay is actually getting a small number despite being one of the teams I expect to be in the NFC mix.
- Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders (-3.5) — OVER/UNDER 39.5 — 4:25 PM ET — A battle of two teams that are predicted to be selecting a top-5 draft pick in 2027.
- Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles (-5.5) — OVER/UNDER 44.5 — 4:25 PM ET — An early Divisional game, which is more important than most fans realize. A win for either one of these teams is crucial because it’s not just a 1-0 start – it’s also a 1-0 start in the division.
Sunday Night Football
- Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) at New York Giants — OVER/UNDER 48.5 — 8:20 PM ET — I’m all over Dallas this season. The Cowboys are one of my three surprise teams, and I believe they can make the playoffs. This is a very important opening-night test.
Monday Night Football
Monday, September 14
- Denver Broncos (+2.5) at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) — OVER/UNDER 43.5 — 8:15 PM ET — Denver is another team I like heading into 2026, but Arrowhead on Monday Night Football is a completely different animal. This could be one of the most entertaining games of the week.
BEST BETS — WEEK 1
Week 1 is always tricky.
We have new quarterbacks, new coaches, new rosters, and zero regular-season games to tell us what these teams will look like. That’s what makes the opening week so much fun.
And that’s also why I’m not trying to bet every game on the board. Find the spots you believe in. Take your shots. And don’t chase.
