Big Ten Football Schedule 2020 Revealed: Who Is Favored? Odds For Each Team
Are you ready for some football? Sports fans are, but will COVID-19 put a halt to the NCAA season before it even arrives?
Big Ten first to get year started
While we do not know if there will be a pigskin season in 2020, the Big Ten has revealed its plan for the upcoming year.
CBS Sports indicates that the Big Ten will begin playing games earlier than all other Power Five conferences this fall.
The Big Ten is scheduled to begin on September 3 and 4 with single games each day. On Saturday, Sept. 5, the Big Ten will have five games on the schedule.
The ACC will begin to play the following week, while the Big 12 has yet to decide a start date. The SEC and Pac-12 are kicking off their seasons on Sept. 26.
Big Ten Schedule, Odds
So who is favored to win the Big Ten in 2020? That honor belongs to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
OSU is currently listed at -240 to win the Big Ten title this December. Sure the talent is there in Columbus to win another Big Ten title, however, with a shorten season on tap, keep these three teams in mind.
Michigan (+650), Penn State (+600) and Nebraska (+2000) cannot be overlooked.
Each of these teams should be better than last season – especially Nebraska. With a solid 1-2 punch at QB with Luke McCaffrey and Adrian Martinez, and coach Scott Frost finally getting a squad made up of his players, the Huskers should be much improved in 2020.
