Big Ten Power Rankings Week 4: Huskers Rise, Michigan, MSU, Penn State Continue Free Fall
The Week 4 Big Ten Power Rankings have arrived and just like the year 2020 itself, the Big Ten Power Rankings look a bit upside down.
Michigan, Penn State slide continues
The Michigan Wolverines and Penn State Nittany Lions are awful. There really is nothing else you can say.
The two powerhouse teams will be lucky to be bowl eligible by season’s end – and that has not happened in a long time. Without further ado, here are the rankings.
Big Ten Power 7
1. Indiana (4-0): The Hoosiers are for real. If they beat Ohio State this Saturday, something they have not done since 1988, they will be the clear cut team to beat for the title.
2. Ohio State (3-0): The Buckeyes know how to win. Their first real test comes this week vs. Indiana.
3. Wisconsin (2-0): Once again they are a force, even with time off due to COVID, the Badgers destroyed Michigan in Ann Arbor.
4. Northwestern (4-0): The Wildcats are 4-0 for the first time since 1996. Now the question is can they keep it up?
5. Iowa (2-2): The Hawkeyes are a tough team to figure out. 0-2 start – looked awful. 2-0 since, and they look like a machine.
6. Maryland (2-1): Are they good? They look better than advertised so far.
7. Nebraska (1-2): Luke McCaffrey may be just what they need to get rolling! This team is much better than their 1-2 record.
Best of the rest
8. Purdue (2-1)
9. Michigan (1-3)
10. Minnesota (1-3)
11. Rutgers (1-3)
12. Michigan State (1-3)
13. Illinois (1-3)
14. Penn State (0-4)
