NBA Playoffs 2023 Odds: Lakers vs. Warriors Schedule & Finals Futures
The NBA playoffs 2023 odds have presented plenty of opportunities in a crazy start to the postseason. The first-round matchups are all completed, with the No. 1 Milwaukee Bucks upset by the No. 8 Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference. In the Western Conference, the No. 2 Memphis Grizzlies and No. 3 Sacramento Kings were also ousted ahead of their plans for the postseason.
That was thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, respectively. Fans were treated to an incredible Game 7 performance from one Stephen Curry, who went off for 50 points in getting his team past the Kings. Meanwhile, LeBron James and Anthony Davis seem on a mission to return to championship glory.
Here we’ll focus on their upcoming series schedule, the Lakers vs. Warriors odds, and a look at who is favored to win it all from the remaining playoff squads.
Lakers vs. Warriors odds & schedule
These two teams clashed in the playoffs just a few years ago, sort of. A Lakers vs. Warriors matchup was part of the NBA’s 2021 play-in tournament games, with LeBron and company triumphant. However, that was when the Warriors’ Klay Thompson was injured, and now he’ll be back in a healthy lineup for the reigning NBA champs.

It will be a battle between two of the league’s best: LeBron and Steph. Their supporting casts aren’t so bad either, as Steph gets his Splash Brothers partner Klay this time. James has help, too, including stars Davis and D’Angelo Russell.
The Lakers come into the series off their 4-2 series win against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies. Meanwhile, the Warriors have the momentum of a furious Game 7 win on the road at Sacramento to take their series 4-3.
Prices vary by the sportsbook on these two teams’ odds for Game 1 and the series. DraftKings has the Warriors favored by 4.5 points in the first game, or -190 on the money line. The Lakers are +160 road underdogs, while the over/under is at 228 points.
For the series, the Warriors are slight favorites of -158, while the Lakers come in as +134 underdogs. There are also a variety of bets, including Game 1 winner/Series and predicting the correct series outcome (4-0, 4-1, 4-2, etc).
Teams’ NBA Playoffs 2023 odds to win the championship
The Lakers and Warriors are two teams to keep an eye on in the odds to win the 2023 NBA Finals. Getting them ahead of the playoffs would’ve been ideal, but as of now, the Lakers are still +1100 to win it all. That could change if they drop Game 1, offering an even more appealing number.
The Warriors have surged up to +490 odds at Fanduel, making them second-best behind only the Boston Celtics at +120. However, two other West teams, the Nuggets and Suns, are +600 to win the championship.
