Rams vs Bengals Prediction: Super Bowl 56 Odds, Start Time, Key Team Stats & How To Watch Live

Finally…after nearly two weeks of hype, the Rams vs Bengals Super Bowl 56 action is set to take place just over 48 hours from now. Which team will walk away with the Vince Lombardi Trophy? We think we know, and if we are correct, it will be our third straight Super Bowl winner!

Last season we were on the Buccaneers plus the points against the Chiefs. The year before, we survived with the Chiefs’ big comeback against the 49ers. Which way are we leaning this Sunday? That answer is coming after our breakdown!

Rams vs Bengals an instant classic?

Who is winning on Super Sunday? That depends on who you talk to. The Rams were supposed to be in this position. The Bengals were not.

Back in August, LA was a top-five favorite to make it to the big game. The Bengals were listed in many sportsbooks as high as +50000 to hoist the trophy.

Don’t kid yourself. The pressure is all on LA to complete this great run. The Bengals are definitely playing with house money. That in itself should scare you if you think the Rams are just going to win this game in a cakewalk. The Bengals have already taken down No. 1 seeded Tennessee and the defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs during this journey – both on the road mind you.

Why the Bengals will win

It sounds simple. Even cliche, really. But if the Bengals play mistake-free football they will win Super Bowl 56. Here are some great examples of why I said such an obvious statement.

The Bengals were 9-2 in 2021 when having a turnover margin within one of the opposing teams they faced. That is the third-best in the NFL. When they don’t turn the ball over at all, they are nearly unbeatable. When they do turn it over, well, they never win – literally.

Cincy is a staggering 0-14 over the last two seasons when they turn the ball over two or more times in a game.

Now to the running game and why Joe Mixon is so important. The Bengals are very successful when they pound the rock, period. Cincinnati compiled a 7-1 mark when they rushed for more than 100 yards in a game in 2021. One more key for a Bengals win – protect Joe Burrow.

The Bengals were a perfect 5-0 when allowing less than 3 sacks this season. That is best in the NFL. If the O-line gives Burrow time to find his go-to guy in Ja’Marr Chase, this game is going to be more than interesting.

Why the Rams will win

Is it fair to say that for the Rams to win this game it is all up to Matt Stafford? The answer is yes. One thing we know – when Stafford is on, LA wins. When he’s off, things go south quickly.

The Rams were undefeated (6-0) when Matt Stafford did not throw an interception in 2021. Stafford also saves his best for last it appears. The Rams were 5-1 this season when they were within 7 points at the two-minute warning. That is tied for best in NFL.

One more huge key for LA. I mean huge. Somehow they have to slow down the Bengals wideouts. This may be the difference in the game.

The Bengals wide receivers compiled an avg of just over 208 receiving yards per game this season. That was the second-best in NFL. The Rams defense gives up an average of 173 receiving yards per game to wideouts this season. That ranks them near the bottom of the NFL.

Jalen Ramsey and his fellow mates need to come up big for LA Sunday if the Rams are hoping to have a celebration to remember.

Rams vs Bengals Odds, pick, How to watch live stream, and TV info

Enough talk. Here is all you need to know about the big game! The facts, odds, and our pick for Super Bowl 56. After all of our stats, studying and overview, here is what we believe the outcome of Super Bowl 56 will be.

The team with the ball last could be driving to win the game. It should be that close. If both teams put up their best effort, we think that Bengals placekicker Evan McPherson may be lining up to once again kick a game-winning field goal.

Remember, for gamblers, it’s not who wins in this game, it’s by how many.

A small play on Cincinnati on the money line, is a must at +175, but the Bengals +4.5 is our play.

Super Bowl 56 will air live on NBC starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. The big game will also stream live online through Peacock.
