Two For Tuesday: NCAA Picks for Illinois vs. Michigan State, St. John’s vs. Villanova

The “Two for Tuesday” selections are on fire! As we prepare for our third installation of our Tuesday selections, we are hoping to keep the money ball rolling.

So far we are a perfect 4-0. Las week, Purdue and UCONN came through with victories. The week before the Pistons and Jazz got us off to our great start. While we all know no one can always win, we will continue to try and remain unblemished!

Two for Tuesday NCAA style

Illinois (-7.5, O/U 144) vs Michigan State

The Fighting Illini are on fire. They head into East Lansing on a seven-game winning streak as they look to solidify their NCAA Tournament resume.

Illinois hasn’t lost in over a month. At 16-5, 12-3 Big Ten, they trail only No. 3 Michigan in the league standings. However, they will have a bit of trouble tonight.

MSU has won 3 of its last 5 and more importantly, they are playing much better of late. They may not win, but they should get the cover as a 7-point home dog.

Pick – Michigan State +7

St. John’s vs. Villanova (-11.5, O/U 152)

St. John’s is playing their best basketball in years. However, what team will show up tonight? The team that has already taken down Villanova 70-59 on Feb.3, or the squad that just lost to punchless Depaul 88-83 last Saturday?

We expect a bounce back in this spot from St. John’s. It will be tough to beat Nova for a second time, but this line seems a bit inflated.

Pick – St. John’s +11.5
