World Series 2020: Odds, Schedule, TV Times for Dodgers vs. Rays

The 2020 World Series odds, schedule, and teams are set! It took all 7 games of both the ALCS and NLCS to determine this year’s Fall Classic participants, but finally, the action is ready to go.

Dodgers, Rays ready for World Series battle

When the LA Dodgers take on the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2020 World Series it will be a true matchup of David vs. Goliath.

The Rays had a great regular season. Tampa surprised many MLB experts by not only winning the AL East but knocking off the NY Yankees and Houston Astros in the MLB playoffs on their way to the Fall Classic.

For the Dodgers, they have been here before. In fact, a loss to the Rays could have the Dodger faithful wondering if they will ever capture another World Series title in the future.

LA won the NL Pennant in 2017 and again in 2018, however they fell short of capturing the World Series title each time. Is this the year LA can finally add another World Series title to their collection?

World Series 2020 schedule, odds, TV start times

Heading into the 2020 season, the Dodgers were the favorites to win the World Series.

While they have made it to the big dance, losing to the Rays, a team not many experts predicted would win the American League, would be considered a tremendous failure.

That isn’t saying that Tampa doesn’t deserve to be here. They certainly do. It just means that the high pay-rolled Dodgers once again will have a lot of pressure to deliver.

Oddsmakers at BetMGM have the Dodgers listed as a 1/2 favorite (-200) with the comeback on Tampa set at +165.

That is a long cry from the odds set just 90 days ago. At that time, the Dodgers were set at -375 to win the Series, with the Rays at a whopping +2000. If you wagered on Tampa back then you could be sitting on a nice payout if the Rays win the title!
