Big Ten Schedule 2020 revealed: Six Teams Land In AP Preseason Top 25, Projected Early Odds

The Big Ten released its newly revised football schedule for the 2020 season on Saturday, and already fans are chomping at the bit for action!

According to Omaha.com, the new schedule will feature eight set games, followed by a “plus one” on Dec. 19 in which all squads will play the team that finished with the same ranking in the opposite division.

The Big Ten title game will once again be held at Lucas Oil Stadium on December 19.

When does the Big Ten schedule for 2020 begin?

Just this past week, there were early indications that the Big Ten Conference was ready to get back on the field. As University of Nebraska President Ted Carter had his comments caught on a hot mic, it led to the rumors that the season was going to begin. Now there are no more rumors, only facts, with a schedule available!

The Big Ten conference will once again hit the field on October 24 and will feature some great matchups right out of the gate.

Among the schedule highlights- the Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Michigan travels to Minnesota, and Indiana will host Penn State.

Big Ten Football represented well in AP Preseason Top 25

Once again, the Big Ten will be stacked in terms of the AP rankings. Now the the question is can they hold that preseason power all year long?

According to FOX Sports on Saturday, six teams will head into the season ranked in the AP Top 25.

Those six include Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, and Iowa. The Buckeyes and Nittany Lions will both start in the Top 10 at No. 2 and No. 7 respectively.

Odds to Win Big Ten Title

To no one’s surprise, Ohio State is once again favored to win the Big Ten Championship. The Buckeyes are the only team minus money – which speaks volumes in terms of gambling.

Here’s a look at the complete odds:

At -225, Ohio State is the runaway favorite. In fact, it seems to be a two team race between OSU and rival Michigan. At -350, the Wolverines are the only team within shouting distance of OSU according to oddsmakers.

If you think any other team has a chance to win the Big Ten title, now is the time to place your bets because the payout will be astronomical!
