NFL Week 14 Odds, Schedule, Best Bets & Updated Super Bowl Favorites: Patriots, Buccaneers On Super Sunday Collision Course?
Week 14 of the 2021 NFL schedule will get underway this evening when the Minnesota Vikings host the Pittsburgh Steelers from the Twin City. Neither team has lived up to their preseason expectations, and both are in need of a win tonight to stay in the postseason Wild Card race.
The Vikings, who are a 3-point favorite, are the walking wounded right now as the team is plagued with injuries. The good news for Minnesota is running back Dalvin Cook is expected to return tonight. That could give the Vikes offense a much-needed boost.
As for the Steelers, they are just looking to string together consecutive wins as they attempt to stay in playoff contention. Big Ben has struggled and the defense has been not very Steel Curtain-like in 2021. Nevertheless, they are in the thick of things in the AFC despite being 1-2-1 in their last four games.
Patriots, Buccaneers Super Bowl is beyond intriguing
The New England Patriots may have a bye this week, but that isn’t stopping them from being the talk of the NFL. Winners of 7-straight and boasting one of the top defenses in the league, if this team continues their red-hot play and claims home-field advantage, don’t be surprised if they end up in Los Angeles on Super Sunday this February.
Rebuild? Not for coach Bill Belichick. This team is stout on defense and has a talented rookie quarterback that semi-resembles good ‘ol No. 12. Now, we aren’t losing our heads here at Sports Odds Digest – no one is Tom Brady. He is the GOAT.
However, let’s give credit where it is due. Mac Jones is playing beyond his years for the Patriots and coach Belichick couldn’t be happier. His numbers don’t blow you away (2,869 yards, 16 TD’s) but his composure should. The dude seems calm as a cucumber for a rookie in the most pressure-filled situations.
Can you imagine a New England vs Tampa Bay Super Bowl? It almost seems like it HAS to happen! The new kid on the block in Mac Jones, taking on Tom Brady, the winningest QB in NFL history and former Patriots legend? Jones looking for his first Super Bowl title while Brady would be shooting for back-to-back rings with Tampa and his 8th overall?!?
The storylines would be endless!

Okay. A Brady vs. Belichick Super Bowl is still a far-off possibility (we think it will happen) so for now let’s stick to what’s in front of us – Week 14.
