Two For Tuesday: MLB Odds, Best Bets For May 11, 2021

After too long of a break, the Two for Tuesday selections are back! Today’s edition is focused on MLB odds. As we enter the cusp of a great sports run with the NHL and NBA playoffs just a week away to go along with the height of the MLB season, it is time to start making some serious money. We have had great success with our Tuesday selections during the hoops season, so let’s get the ball rolling once again!

MLB Odds: Kansas City vs. Detroit (Royals -122, O/U 7.5)

The Tigers are struggling. So are the Royals. Detroit is 2-8 in their last 10 games. The Royals, who were in first place and looking strong just 7 days ago have lost 8 straight games and are 1-9 in their last 10. The silver lining in this contest? Matthew Boyd.

Detroit’s lefty is much better than his record indicates. Boyd’s 2-3 mark doesn’t show how dominant he has been so far in 2021. With a 2.27 ERA and a WHIP of 0.93, this guy would be front-page news if Detroit had a winning record. In 35 innings, Boyd has given up just 1-home run and 9 earned runs. With Nomar Mazara returning to the lineup and Jeimer Candelario and Harold Castro starting to heat up, the Tigers are a nice dog play.

Pick — Detroit +112

Rangers vs. Giants (Giants -155, O/U 8)

The Giants are one of the surprising teams thus far in 2021. However, Texas has played much better through the first month as well. Not many MLB experts had either team on their radar in terms of postseason expectations but so far they are both making a case.

The Giants are 13-4 at home. That is more than impressive for a 17-game stretch. The NL always has a slight advantage when they play the AL at their home ballpark. Look for the Giants to get the W Tuesday afternoon.

Pick – Giants -155
