Heisman Trophy Odds 2022: Blake Corum, Hendon Hooker Surge As Michigan Rolls Penn State, Tennessee Upsets Alabama

When the season began, Michigan running back Blake Corum and Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker weren’t on many experts’ radars in terms of winning the Heisman Trophy. Heading into late October, that sure has changed.

Blake Corum, Wolverines shred No. 10 Penn State

Black Corum and the Michigan Wolverines were heading into Saturday’s matchup on a big-time roll. However, to keep rolling, they would have to find a way to move the ball against one of the best defenses in NCAA football. That wasn’t a problem!

Corum once again had a highlight reel game as he finished with 166 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries as the Wolverines blew out Penn State 41-17.

Now for an even bigger story down south. The Tennessee Volunteers are the real deal, and Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker is gaining national notoriety by the minute.

Hooker and receiver Jalin Hyatt were unstoppable Saturday. Literally! Hooker passed for 385 yards, 5 touchdowns all caught by Hyatt as the Vols upset Alabama 52-49. It was CRAZY after the game down in Rocky Top!
