Week 14 NFL Odds, Schedule, Best Bets – Raiders, Lions Keep Rolling
Week 14 kicksoff this Thursday from Los Angeles when the surging Las Vegas Raiders square off against the slumping defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. The Rams may be hosting tonight’s game, however, don’t be surprised if you see more Raiders fans than normally expected for the visiting squad.
Raiders, Lions peaking at the perfect time?
The Raiders are playing their best football of the season as they head into tonight’s game riding a 3-game winning streak. Star players always need to step up when a team is making a late-season push. Right now that is exactly what Vegas is seeing happen.
Running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Davante Adams along with defensive end Chandler Jones (3 sacks last week vs the Chargers) seem to be picking up speed as we enter December, which is just what this Raiders team trying to make the postseason needs.
Another team to keep your eyes on is the Detroit Lions. After a 1-6 start, Detroit has won 4 of 5 and is alive and kicking in the hunt for a Wild Card spot.
The Lions’ offense is one of the tops in the league and even if this team falls short of the postseason, they are going to be a tough opponent to beat down the stretch. Quarterback Jared Goff is looking more and more comfortable since coming over to the Lions last season in the deal that sent Matt Stafford to Los Angeles. With numerous weapons, the Lions could finally be building a team in Motown with some serious bite.
